NON-COSMETIC VISITS

 

  
  $280 REGULAR VISIT for all sexes includes a focused medical questionnaire, a breast/chest exam, outer genital inspection with urethral and/or ulcer sampling if indicated, inner vaginal speculum exam with cervical sampling if indicated, bi-manual and recto-vaginal exams if the latter is indicated. The lab will separately bill you ~$55 to $80 if a Pap is sent and ~$100 to $250 if a combined Gonorrhea and Chlamydia STD test is sent.
 		  
  $280 PERIMENOPAUSAL OR MENOPAUSAL VISIT for women 45 or older with or without periods who may or may not have hot flushes, night sweat, vaginal dryness and/or frequent urination. It includes a focused questionnaire, breast and full pelvic exam along with any indicated sampling. Again, the lab will separately bill you ~$55 to $80 if a Pap is sent.
 		  
  $200 ANNUAL VISIT 10 OR MORE MONTHS after a prior exam visit.
 		  
  $160 FOLLOW-UP VISIT 6 TO 10 MONTHS after a prior exam visit.
 		  
  $120 FOLLOW-UP VISIT LESS THAN 6 MONTHS after prior exam visit.
 		  
  $200 COMBINED-HORMONE PILL AND/OR VAGINAL RING VISIT for females does not hold you hostage to an unnecessary pelvic exam. It includes a necessary blood pressure reading, an abbreviated medical questionnaire, free samples as available and a prescription for another 10 to 12 months. If you are 35 or older however, you must not have had any recent episodes of heavy periods and/or irregular bleeding. The pelvic exam, while desirous, is unnecessary since it cannot detect who will have a serious complication on combined-hormone pills, skin patch and vaginal ring. Also, they do not worsen any gynecological conditions picked up by the pelvic exam and often improve them.
 		  
  $160 GET RID OF JETLAG VIRTUAL VISIT for those of you flying across three or more time zones. Contact Dr. Bell via info@femhealthnyc.com or give her your fax number so she can send over a brief medical questionnaire and get your travel schedule in order to prescribe a jetlag regime tailored to you. An American pharmacy phone number and credit card number are both required. Medications not covered.  
       
  $160 BIOPSY VISIT for females removes a tiny bit of uterine lining, cervical lining and/or skin possibly for microscopic review by an off-site lab that will bill you separately later. You will require the former if you are 35 or older with heavy and/or irregular bleeding to exclude uterine lining cancer.

GENITAL THERAPY VISIT for all sexes to destroy warts by applying acid with a Q-tip once, twice or thrice 7 to 14 days apart OR to monitor your response every 4 to 6 weeks after you have been applying Aldara cream.
 

  
  $80 BLOOD DRAWING VISIT for all sexes needing and/or desiring diabetic blood sugar and/or cholesterol/lipid testing after having a snack between 11:00pm and 12:00am, then only water until your blood is drawn between 8:30AM and 10:30am. Of course, blood can be drawn at other times for other tests without fasting beforehand. Again, the lab will separately bill you for your tests.
